Prime Minister and Socialist leader Edi Rama met with Socialist Party MPs on Monday afternoon to celebrate the victory in the May 11 parliamentary elections. In his speech at the meeting held at the Brigades Palace in the capital, Rama emphasized that this victory is necessary to fulfill the historic mission, as he considered it, to develop Albania forever.

Rama described the victory as a historic achievement for the SP.

Rama added that after this victory, a lot of work is needed, first of all with oneself.

"This victory is a historic achievement for the Socialist Party. Neither victory nor election is an end in itself. But to achieve goals, you have to win. We need victory to fulfill the historic mission we have undertaken. We need it to develop Albania forever. We need it to strengthen security, justice, and grow the economy. We need to work hard on ourselves first. We need to start with ourselves," said Rama. /CNA
