Democratic Party MP Dashnor Sula declared today that he guaranteed the DP that he would receive over 10,000 votes if he ran as a candidate for MP for Peqin, part of the Elbasan District. Invited to a television studio, Sula commented on the May 11 parliamentary elections, as he expressed that he expected this result.

Sula criticized, saying that the closed list of the DP does not produce votes, that it has worn-out figures.

"I was neither on the open list nor on the closed list of the DP. Flamur Noka called me on his cell phone. I asked him to be in Peqin and guaranteed him that I would receive over 10 thousand votes. Peqin ended with 2300 votes and in Belsh with 1,500 votes. I voted for a person, I did not vote for a party. I expected this result. I warned him on July 26, 2024, I said it in parliament, I said Rama, you have the elections, you have won and you risk winning the elections with a qualified majority. This happened because of a miserable Code, which Sali Berisha and the people around him also made. The closed list of the DP does not produce votes, because they have worn-out figures.
