Blendi Gonxha's result in Vora/Berisha: The figures cannot be understood,

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, during today's press conference, among other things, commented on the results of the May 11 parliamentary elections for some specific candidates in the Tirana and Durrës regions. In his speech, Berisha also mentioned the case of Blendi Gonxha, who was leading the open list with about 18 thousand votes.

Berisha said that these figures cannot be easily understood, while also giving the example of another candidate who had received around 2,000 votes.

The leading democrat made these comments regarding what he described as the effects of the electoral farce.  

"When you see the result of Blendi Gonxha who received 18 thousand votes in Vora while the other candidate received 2 thousand votes. One cannot understand these. If there were no cartel effect. There are other gangs. Durrës could have been won with 80% for the Democratic Party. Here, a cause-effect or effect of the national farce cannot be counted", said Berisha./CNA
