Berisha's accusations: Crime-linked media censored US Attorney General's request

The CEC has certified the election results for the Tirana district, where the SP received 19 mandates, the DP 13 mandates, 2 mandates for "Mundësia" and one each for the "Lëvizja Bashkë" coalition, the "Nisma Shqipëria Bëhet" coalition, and 3 mandates for the PSD.
The results were also certified for the Elbasan district, where the SP received 10 mandates and the DP 4 mandates.
The summary table for the Durrës district was also approved, where the SP received 8 mandates and the DP 6 mandates.
The opposition, as with other regions, asked the chief commissioner Ilirjan Celibashi not to certify the results for Tirana, Durrës and Elbasan.
Celibashi countered that the institution he heads is obliged to approve the summary tables of voting results no later than 48 hours from their submission to the CEC.
The opposition is now left to appeal the decisions to the KAS and then, if the KAS rejects their claims, the final link is the Electoral College./ CNA
