"We increase students' access to technology"/ Manastirliu:

The Minister of Education and Sports, Ogerta Manastirliu, was today at the "Gjon Buzuku" school in Tirana, where she closely followed a lesson held in the new intelligent laboratory, an investment by the Ministry of Education and Sports to improve the quality of teaching through technology.

Minister Manastirliu emphasized the importance of integrating technology into all teaching subjects, as a way to increase interaction, develop creative skills, and encourage critical thinking in students.

"We are including smart laboratories in all subjects so that through interactive platforms we can help teachers not only in the subject of Information and Communication Technology and the Code Monkey program, but also in other subjects such as Albanian, foreign languages, etc., making teaching even more understandable and attractive. In this way, we encourage not only the students' creative skills but also critical thinking," said Manastirliu.

Currently, 316 smart laboratories are operational in schools across the country. In the next two years, we aim to equip 1,000 schools with this modern infrastructure.

"654 smart laboratories will be added to our schools in the next two years, enabling around 1,000 schools to be equipped with smart laboratories and all students to have access to technology so that they can increase their digital skills," said the Minister of Education and Sports, Ogerta Manastirliu./CNA
