The political leader of the Democratic Party for Tirana, Belind Këlliçi, was asked in a television appearance whether Berisha should resign.

A question to which Këlliç replied that the DP has a statute that has been implemented at every step since 2021 and these are internal party matters.

Këlliçi further said that all attention is currently on the electoral farce.

 

" You never ask about the 100 euros he gave to pensioners during the electoral campaign, which is a violation. You never ask about vote buying, about public administration. This is a very big problem. When you are a member of the DP, you come to campaign in the DP forums, you will get acquainted with the internal discussion, with the debate, with the statute.

The DP has a statute, which has been implemented at every step since 2021. Having said that, these are internal issues within the DP, and I guarantee that this is a completely irrelevant issue within the DP at the moment. This is because all the focus and energy and attention is on the electoral farce. If we lose this trend, we will deal with everyone's responsibilities at this moment, which no one can avoid, but this is not the moment , "said Këlliçi.
