The head of the CEC, Ilirjan Celibashi, has responded "flame for flame" to the DP's accusations that the votes were manipulated.

Celibashi stated that the process was monitored 24/7 and there were no added ballots or trafficked votes as the opposition claims.

"It is important to emphasize, all political parties know this, that the process of preparing electoral documentation at the Olympic Park, the delivery of the documentation to the postal service operator, is a process that guarantees 100% integrity of the external voting process.

This also applies to the case of the return of electoral documentation from DHL to the CEC. This entire segment was conducted under the supervision of representatives of political parties and civil society organizations. It was monitored 24/7 by cameras.

"Everything went as it should, there were no added ballots, nor trafficked votes. It remains to assess the claims related to the extent to which the integrity of the Albanian vote was respected in the process of receiving the ballots and returning them through the postal service," said Celibashi./ CNA
