Dashamir Shehi stated today that he does not consider his party and the coalition with which he competed in the elections as big losers after the announcement of the results, as according to him this name does not belong to small parties. Invited to a television studio, Shehi expressed that he feels disappointed by his result in the May 11 elections.

Shehi also explained in more detail the reasons that led him to resign as chairman of the "Right for Development" coalition.

"I resigned because we lost. Someone must be held accountable. We tried for these two years, we tried to negotiate with the small or new parties and we didn't succeed. It is my failure because I took on this job and couldn't unite them. I wish those who broke the siege good luck. This result also contains the yeast of an opposition sadness, which spent 4 years to solve the problem of 2-3 families. The big losers, because we are the small ones, are those of the DP group. Sali Berisha himself has emerged victorious, perhaps it is his biggest political victory. Today he has 50 MPs and he is happy. Edi Rama is in power, Berisha controls the opposition. The DP is the beneficiary of this system, as it has taken several MPs away. Even within the DP, those who have won from the open list are not professors. I have taken my personal responsibilities. Personally, I feel disappointed in my city, because "I thought they would have a little more respect for me. Apparently, it's not our time anymore. The new players are all millionaires, but I thought there would be a little morale left.
