"Terror against opposition leaders"/ Berisha: Albania carried out an electoral farce

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, spoke about the results of May 11 in a television appearance.

Berisha said that these were not elections, but an electoral farce, which has been evidenced in 4 international resolutions.

The chief democrat said that terror was exercised against opposition leaders as well as vote buying.

" We are faced with the undeniable fact, according to a number of fundamental documents, that Albania carried out an electoral farce. There were no elections, there was an electoral farce, as warned. In 4 international resolutions it was stated that Albania has an electoral farce. The European External Action Service in the middle of the electoral campaign said that there is no fair electoral process in Albania. There were serious violations, including state funds, vote buying, not forgetting the media close to the government. A terror against opposition leaders, the capture of justice and others ", said Berisha./ CNA
