The leaders of the new parties that have been able to secure seats in the new legislature seem unlikely to enter the Assembly. If we look at the election data, the two leaders, Arlind Qori from the Lëvizja Bashkë and Adriatik Llapaj as part of the coalition with the Nismë Shqipëria Bëhet, it turns out that neither of them will be in parliament.

Arlind Qori is second on the Tirana list, after candidate Redi Muçi was first on the list.

Meanwhile, the Albania Initiative for the Tirana Region, based on the final results of the Central Election Commission, has only one mandate and the winner is candidate Ana Dajko.

As it turns out, neither Adriatik Llapaj, who received only 6,500 votes in Tirana, despite his high claims, nor Endrit Shabani, who received 3,000 votes, has a mandate from the parliamentary elections. Neither of them will enter the Assembly.

Muçi, from the Together Movement, has declared that he will retain the mandate he won. For Lapaj to take the mandate, Ana Dajko must resign. But when a female candidate leaves the mandate, according to the Electoral Code, her mandate passes back to a woman.

So Lapaj cannot take the mandate.

The most voted among women on the waiting list of the Albania Becomes Initiative is Greta Ambeli, but there are 12 names on the list who could receive the mandate.

So, Adriatik Llapaj also seems unlikely to enter the Parliament, just like Arlind Qori./CNA
