Korça is a phenomenon that needs to be analyzed in the DP and no one has ever really delved into it. The result of the 2025 elections is weaker than that of 2021, 2017, but also 2013.
It all started with the Basha-Olldashi race, where Sali Berisha started with exclusions, which were followed by internal wars, with the conflicts of Andrea Manos, who became party leader with a great aspiration to become an MP, and has been fighting to become an MP for 20 years.
They continued to worsen with the departure of Ervin Salianja , continued with the Basha conjunctures, servility, mediocrity, inability, dishonesty to evaluate and see the change that was needed. They deepened in 2021 and the biggest blow came during the Berisha-Basha clash and now in the finale if we look at the DP list in the Korça Region, the majority say nothing.

Andrea Mano ran again in the Korça District and was unable to become a deputy after receiving 4,900 votes, being surpassed by Kristiano Koçibelli with around 5,200 votes and Fidel Kreka with around 6,591 votes.
The latter is an "electoral phenomenon" to analyze since he is not known for being an intellectual, a man with principles and values ??who knows politics, but is simply the son of a DP militant who called from behind a group of followers who supported him and were able to make him an MP, but who, in fact, beyond a positive equation for the growth of the DP that is related to the part of its base in its entirety, does not bring a hope or signal that the DP has intellectuals, has civic values, which they can take and represent.

Of course, in politics there are those who are broad representatives, there are also those who represent the base, the lower part of the party, Fidel Kreka is a true representative of the following amalgam that the DP produces, but which will never be able to rise with this type of phenomena, to become bigger to be hopeful for a victory. Then when they say to Azem Hajdari of the DP, this is more than the Democrats can bear. "Forgive God, they don't know what they are doing."
All of this came about because the Korça PD turned into a place where anyone could come and go.

Ivi Kaso is a political leader, he goes to Korça, a man with a contribution to the leadership of the DP in the center in its technicalities, with not much experience in leading a district, he has tried to establish balances, but that's it and nothing more.
Everything seems to fall apart when you look at number two on the list, Ledina Aliolli, former MP, candidate for DP leader, supporter of Lulzim Basha, then she switched to Berisha, the former leader of LDK for many years, she ran, lost for the municipality and so on.
So, a name despite coming from academic life, unlike Fidel Kreka, she has a dubious graduation as it has been reported that her master's and some title defenses have problems due to the English language, but we leave this part aside. This lady comes from university life, if she were on the open list, one thing is certain: she would never have won.
The other name is Bledjon Nallbati. Just like Ledina who says nothing to the Korça Region, Bledjon Nallbati no longer says anything to Devoll.
We saw him getting beaten up in the streets, in parliament. What can he say to the Korça Region and the voters? Can such an individual, with dark connections to the underworld, give them hope?
The part of the closed list in the Korça Region was quite problematic and not at all hopeful, as we analyzed the figures above, looking at the list, you can understand what its consequences are.
After Fidel Kreka, who we mentioned above, comes Christiano Koçibelli, a young, promising politician who received around 5,200 votes, but failed to win, but there was one truth. He said it was an unequal race and pointed the finger at Ledina Aliolli for influencing the electoral process by siding with candidate Fidel Kreka.
In fact, the latter's victory is also dedicated to Ledina, but if you look at the latter, you don't know who votes for him since he has only systematically lost. There may be only a small number of militants, but they are worthless in terms of the electoral total to bring about a possible victory for the DP.
Then Andrea Mano, who, as we pointed out above, has been running for MP for 20 years and was unable to succeed.
The other name is Jorida Mazelliu , a girl from Devolli, in a territory controlled by Bledjon Nallbati that he has turned into his fiefdom that received about 4,700 votes and nothing more than that.
It couldn't go any further. If you look at the votes of women and DP candidates compared to the Socialists, they are many times less.
There are two names in Pogradec, Gentian Çala and Genti Çela, one from the SMI and the other the leader of the DP. They were unable to break Pogradec and raise it to the required number of votes, they went to no more than 3 thousand to 3500 votes.
Another electoral phenomenon was Mr. Edmond Spaho, who ran for 20 or so consecutive years in the Korça Region, sometimes on a closed list, sometimes on an open list, in a direct majority zone. Spaho could not get more than 2500 votes and withdrew from politics. A total failure for the latter.
Enton Çaçani in Kolonjë in a small area receives only 1,300 votes.
Brunilda Prifti and Elsuida Vila, two female candidates on the list, are at the bottom of it with a handful of votes.
In total, if we look at the electoral phenomena and the names placed on the list, the votes they have show quite a bit. And, the most shameful thing is that in Korça, when the DP was in mourning throughout Albania for its loss, there in Korça they were celebrating that a winning candidate was emerging on the open list.
As if Korça's problem was a candidate, a name or an individual.
But this also shows another phenomenon. The internal disunity, the lack of compactness of the structures, the lack of coordination in the organization, the lack of emerging as a strong electoral force in the face of the socialists, but clearly it seems to have been a fragmented structure which the socialists have dismantled along the way with every kind of their schemes, including those claimed by the democrats. The result is stubborn.
It is enough to compare what the socialists have done and what the democrats have done, and what is in the box. The socialists have preserved their votes and have about 5% less than in 2021, the democrats have about 15% less than in 2021 and their votes and the structure have been shattered in function of the entire list that we mentioned above, which more than a battle with the opponent, had a battle within the type which is also one of the main factors of this result and the analysis that is being done for the Korça Region./CNA
