The battle between the socialists in Vlora / Here's who risks losing their

The Socialist Party won 9 seats in the Vlora Region. According to official data from the CEC, the final results show that the Socialists secured around 64,560 votes, with around 60.44%, translating into 9 seats. The Democratic Party received a total of 26,162 votes, with 24.49%, translating into 3 seats, which also resulted in the loss of one seat from the closed list, which was number 4 on the list, Atird Hoxha.

But within the Socialists, there seems to be competition. Even though there are 9 mandates, there is a competition between two candidates for the 9th place. Vasil Llajo and Klejvis Kaso are in the running.

From the voting within the country, Vasil Llajo has 4894 votes and Klejvis Kaso has 4623 votes, with a difference of 271 votes, Vasil Llajo has led, who has received the 9th mandate of the socialists for the Vlora Region. But if you look at the voting that is coming from emigrants, Vasil Llajo has only 65 votes so far, while Klejvis Kaso has 282 votes, making the difference of 271 votes now only 54 votes.

In total, Vasil Llajo, up to this moment, has 4959 votes, while Klejvis Kaso has 4905 votes. The difference is quite large. Klejvis Kaso has received about 5 times more votes from emigrants than Vasil Llajo. A total of 5298 envelopes have been counted and there are about 10700 more envelopes to be counted.

So, about 10 thousand envelopes more than those that have been counted so far, which means that with this trend where with the first 5 thousand votes, Klejvis Kaso has a very large difference with Vasil Llajo.

The race is quite fierce and it seems that the socialist candidate, who is ranked first on the waiting list, could unseat Vasil Llajo, the "Intermedica" businessman, who is already at risk of losing his mandate with the votes of immigrants./CNA
