The political leader of the Democratic Party for Tirana, Belind Këlliçi, spoke about the post-election situation in a television appearance.

Këlliçi focused on the Electoral Code, which he said is the most flawed code that pluralism has ever produced.

Specifically, Këlliçi focused on the case of Ilir Alimehmet, who failed to secure a mandate in the next Parliament, which he called madness.

Këlliçi further said that anyone who thinks that the DP has not reflected after May 11 is wrong.

Këlliçi also indicated that they receive complaints about vote buying every day, focusing on a case in Prrenjas, where there were 24 more ballots than voters.

" I hope there will be no more elections in Albania with this Electoral Code. This code is a product of Edi Rama, it is the most defective code that Albanian pluralism has ever produced. The case of Ilir Alimehmet is a madness in itself. Anyone who thinks that the DP will not reflect is wrong. Media attention should not go to the internal analysis of a political party. Every day that passes we receive new denunciations. I learned about the case of Prrenjas, where there were 24 more ballots.
