The Socialist Party received 83 mandates from the May 11 elections.
Of the 83 Socialist MPs of the upcoming legislature, 29 of them have previously held at least one mandate as MP, while the remaining 54 will be new to the Socialist parliamentary group.
As for the current government cabinet, out of 17 ministers, 16 of them secured a mandate as MP. Three of them, Blendi Gonxhja, Ervin Hoxha and Anila Denaj, were part of the open list.
Meanwhile, 21 socialist deputies from the current group, although they were part of the lists, failed to survive the internal competition.
