Operation "broom" in Tirana Municipality / Veliaj's loyalists

A new wave of dismissals has begun in the Municipality of Tirana, involving well-known names and figures closely linked to former mayor Erion Veliaj. Sources from within the institution indicate that Anuela Ristani, currently in the role of acting head of the municipality, has continued the administrative purge, removing officials and employees who have been part of the management and support structures for more than a decade.

According to Weblajm, following the departure of two well-known officials, Sara Goxhaj and Alban Dokushi, the Director of Protocol and the Director of Support Services were also dismissed this week.

Also, several drivers, secretaries, and administration employees who had served for more than 10 years in the Municipality have left, most of them considered part of Mayor Veliaj's inner circle.

Among those dismissed, the name of Veliaj's personal assistant stands out, a key figure and inseparable from the former mayor's public activities in recent years.

These are some of the names of those who left with the signature of the appointed president:

Raohela Troci – Secretary/Chairperson, President's Cabinet

Klea Ferraj – Specialist, Monitoring Sector of Dependency Institutions

Riza Zoto – Specialist, Administration Services and Administrative Units Sector

Redi Kamberi – Driver, Support Services Sector/ CNA
