Dashamir Shehi commented today on the situation in the country, as it faces the outcome of the May 11 parliamentary elections and the goal of membership in the European Union. In a television interview, Shehi shared his opinion on how he sees the future of Albania and the Democratic Party.
Shehu said that there are government abuses in the country. According to him, the country's entry into the EU will at least set some standards.
Regarding the Democratic Party after the elections, Shehu said that it will go through difficult days and that there is hope in new parties.
"Albania has government abuses and I would like us to enter the EU, so that we have some standards, at least. We will be a bad neighborhood in Europe, but some people will come from Europe who will control the government of the country. I do not see a great future for the DP. I see difficult days for the DP. The opposition is doing badly in the elections, also because of the agreement that Rama and Berisha made together. There is hope in the 150 thousand votes for the new parties", - said Shehi./CNA
