DP leader Sali Berisha has called on the US to declare Albanian criminal groups as terrorist organizations.

In a statement to the media, Berisha said that these criminal groups operate freely in Albania without restrictions.

He said that drug cartels in Albania are the most powerful decision-makers in the government, parliament and local government.

"I call on the US to declare Albanian groups as terrorist groups.
