The chairman of the FRPD, Besart Xhaferri, reacted through a status on social networks regarding the situation in the Gramsh kindergarten, where several children were poisoned with salmonella.

Xhaferri writes that food in kindergartens and nurseries is tendered with the 5D manual. Further, Xhafarreui writes that there is no transparency regarding the company that supplies food to kindergarten No. 1 in Gramsh.

Xhaferri writes that this food company should have its license revoked if food safety standards are not respected.

"Even the food for the kindergartens and nurseries where we take our children, just like for prisons, is tendered with the 5D Manual! Although it has been 24 hours since 70 children in the Gramsh public kindergarten were poisoned by food with salmonella, the institutions continue to be hermetic and do not provide any transparency regarding the company that supplies the kindergarten with food, while the answer to the analysis on the causes of the poisoning is kept secret. The National Institute of Health is conducting analyses to discover the causes of the poisoning, while it is the same institution that turned a blind eye when tons of chicken fillets with salmonella were put on the market with the blessing of the institutions and consumed by Albanians.

For years, tenders for the supply of food to hospitals, kindergartens, nurseries and even prisons have been conducted through the 5D Manual, where profits and percentages have priority and the last thing is food safety. The company that supplied food to the public kindergarten in Gramsh should be scrutinized and its license revoked if it has not respected the standards related to food safety , "writes Xhaferri.
