"Berisha promised me that he would defeat Rama"/ Sula: The Democratic

Democratic Party MP Dashnor Sula commented today on the DP's results from the May 11 parliamentary elections. Invited to a television studio, Sula criticized the party's leadership and said that leader Sali Berisha has never accepted defeat in the elections. 

Sula said that the Democratic Party has problems today.

According to Sula, after 2005, the DP has not won any majority of Albanians.

"The DP no longer listens to the voice of the citizen. Sali Berisha promised me that he would defeat Rama. But he cannot defeat Rama. Sali Berisha has never accepted losing the elections. These are not extremely stolen elections. The Democratic Party today has problems. There are those in the DP who do not answer the phone. The problem with the DP is that the opposition is divided, some people have occupied high positions without even deserving them. We have the vote of extremist militants. The three people who lead the DP are Sali Berisha, Flamur Noka and Albana Vokshi. Berisha should not be the candidate for prime minister. The DP should have a bigger ally, SPAK. Many democrats know that they are losing. Sali Berisha is not the one from 2005. After 2005, we have not won any majority of Albanians," said Sula. /CNA
