Balliu's denunciation: Veliaj and Rama seek to steal citizens' homes

Tirana Regional Coordinator Klevis Balliu has denounced today, together with the residents of the Lana area, the infamous Lana River diversion project.

As a result of this project, 420 houses are destroyed.

Residents of the area declare that the relocation of the Lana River is being done in the interest of building palaces for people close to power.

Balliu states that this area, which is only 5 kilometers from the Tirana municipality as the crow flies, has been left in oblivion.

"Garbage has filled the entire area, the pollution of the river as a result of the garbage that is not cleaned is also bringing diseases to the citizens, the roads have also been left in a deplorable state. People close to power are lining their pockets at the expense of ordinary citizens."

The ruling Democratic Party will never demolish any house without compensating citizens according to the law.

We all know that the construction sector in Tirana is the sector where drug money is laundered. This is not just me saying this, this is what the Italian anti-mafia and the most serious international reports say.

This project is a mafia and criminal project for which Rama and Veliaj will be held responsible.

The Municipality of Tirana has offered citizens a 180 thousand lek rental bonus, but in which neighborhood of Tirana is this price available? Nowhere.
