Balluku: Tunnel of Llogora, this year free of charge

On Friday, the Llogora tunnel will be opened, which has a length of 5.9 kilometers.

This tunnel will be tolled, but charging will start in 2025.

The news was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister, at the same time the Minister of Infrastructure, Belinda Balluku, who said in a television interview.

"The Llogara tunnel will have a speed of about 80 km per hour, there are also curves. Tunnels have a very small speed limit. In the tunnel it is intolerable because it can cause accidents, while overtaking is not allowed. The Llogara Tunnel is a paid work, as it will have high maintenance costs. It is estimated somewhere around 5 euros, but it is about the next year, not this year", said Balluku./ CNA
