Arben Malaj clashes with Murrizi: Why didn't you resign when the DP blocked

Economic expert Arben Malaj today shared a reaction to former MP Myslim Murrizi.

Through a reaction on social media, Malaj asks Murriz why he did not resign when investigations into the oil refineries in Ballsh began, at a time when the DP was in power and ordered the removal of tax collectors from the Deep Oil Processing Plant.

Malaj reminds Murriz that as an MP in those years, he had every opportunity to react appropriately, but he chooses to play the role of hero.

"I can't understand why so heroic Myslymi. Why so humiliating to everyone else, the media "hero" former colleague Myslymi? We have spoken, comrade Myslymi. We have spoken in parliament, we have spoken in the media, we have appealed that SPAK should investigate the accelerated bankruptcy of the Deep Oil Refining Plant as a priority.

Why didn't you resign, Myslym, when the tax authorities during the DP government launched an in-depth investigation into oil refineries and your party's police blocked and expelled the tax collectors?

Your former Finance Minister ordered the investigation to be stopped? Why didn't you protest that day? Why didn't you make an open appeal to your Finance Minister and your Prime Minister?

Yes, we have spoken, but never in "Alabak" language, but with deeply professional arguments. Not with self-personalization as a hero.

You were an MP there after 2005, you had every right and legal opportunity not only to speak, but also to investigate every theft and expose the political "blacks" who got their hands deep into the UPTHN's black money in Ballsh.

I have nothing personal, nor am I doing this to protect anyone, because, fortunately, thieves and greedy people will be exposed more and more every day.

I am proud that even after 20 years and after the endless slanders of the DP – to which you never reacted because they based their political war solely on slanders against political opponents –

Even after the political investigations of the former DP Finance Minister, after 2005, you could not find a single case of me abusing my office, much less enriching my well-educated brothers, sisters, and family members with law or consultancy offices.

Dear Murrizi, calmer, with less vulgarity, with more logical arguments, with more moral and legal insistence.

Public credibility is not gained by self-personalization as "the most honest of the 21st century", but by concrete achievements in the fight against corruption and state capture, which began after the DP returned to power in 2005 and deepened and expanded, even to levels threatening the economy and democracy,

by some greedy Renaissance men and insatiable oligarchs, both together and mutually for economic and political power.

Follow through on an accusation. Murriz, investigate with external experts, win the war even in a single case.
