Minister of State, Taulant Balla, reacted today to the situation with fires in the country, focusing on intentional cases.
Through a post on social media, Balla emphasizes that this type of arson is a crime that is severely punished in the Criminal Code.
Balla called for these cases to be made an example of by the judiciary, as confronting arsonists is impossible.
"The State Police have arrested another arsonist today in Memaliaj. I hope that justice will make examples because otherwise it is impossible to confront arsonists."
An appeal and public reminder: arson is a crime that is severely punished by the Criminal Code.
"A plea to citizens to also make their contribution, helping to eliminate the danger in the early stages. Immediately inform the police and firefighters," Balla writes. /CNA
