Politician Pilinçi: Veliaj got into a funk, out of nowhere, his eyes were caught

Politician Pëllumb Pilinçi commented today on some of the political events in the country.

In an interview conducted this Wednesday, Pilinçi focused on the case of the arrested mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj.

Pilinçi accused Veliaj of corruption and described him as a man who got himself into trouble out of nowhere.

"Veliaj got himself into trouble, out of nowhere. He drove around by car. He went from state to state as Mayor of Tirana. Bravo to him for getting married. He had a millionaires' wedding in the Gjirokastra Castle. When people asked him, he said he found it from his mother's savings. Erion's eyes were caught. I told him he would be arrested. You Albanians will see many things, from the thefts they have committed against you," Pilinçi said. /CNA
