American soldiers found dead in Lithuania/ Rama: Albania stands by the United States

Three of the four American soldiers who went missing in Lithuania about a week ago have been found dead.

Rescue teams first pulled the soldiers' armored vehicle from a swamp and then the soldiers' bodies.

Meanwhile, the fourth soldier remains missing. The American soldiers were in Lithuania conducting exercises on the border with Belarus.

A reaction to the death of three American soldiers also came from Prime Minister Edi Rama.

In a post on the X platform, Rama wrote that his thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims. He also expressed Albania's support for the US.

" Tragic news from Lithuania. The loss of American soldiers during the recent military exercise is a painful reminder of the risks that those who serve carry. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families. As always, Albania stands by the United States and its Commander-in-Chief ," Rama wrote./ CNA
