Constitutive session begins in the Kosovo Assembly / New MPs expected to be

The constitutive session of the IX Legislature of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo began today in Pristina. This is the first session after the results of the February 9 elections.

This Tuesday's session was scheduled by decision of the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani.

The session's agenda includes the formation of the temporary Committee for the verification of the quorum and mandates of the deputies, the oath of the deputies, the election of the Speaker of the Assembly and the election of the Deputy Speakers of the Assembly.

The session will be chaired by the oldest MP, Avni Dehari (LVV) and the youngest MP, Sala Jashari (PDK). 

On the right side of the hall, the second voted entity, the Democratic Party of Kosovo, will sit, while on the left side, the Democratic League of Kosovo.

The other seats will be occupied by the deputies of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, deputies from the Serbian community and other non-Serb communities. /CNA
