The Chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, in a media conference, requested that the institutions and the Albanian state seek Kosovo's membership in NATO as an absolute guarantee of security for Kosovo and the region.

He also welcomed the recent position of KFOR, which makes it clear that the Kosovo Police has the exclusive right to order and security.
