Brnabic for Radoicic: We will investigate all the circumstances

The Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, has said that Serbia will investigate all the circumstances in which the attack on the Kosovo Police took place in Banjska in Zvecan, as she spoke about the politician and businessman Millan Radoicic, who took responsibility for organizing these attacks.

"This is a state of law and we will do everything we can, in accordance with the law and the Constitution, to investigate all the circumstances and to act as foreseen", said Bernabi? for Serbian Television Prva.

She emphasized that she "does not justify" the killing of anyone, nor the killing of the Kosovo Police officer, but said that the Serbs in Kosovo are suffering from constant pressure from the Prishtina authorities, therefore it was "a matter of days, matter of minutes", until the incident.

Brnabic, however, did not mention evidence of the alleged pressure.

She estimated that the authorities in Serbia should "collect evidence and protect the absolute truth" before the meeting of the United Nations Security Council on October 18.

According to the agenda of the Security Council, the work of the UN mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) will also be evaluated in the six-monthly report of the Secretary General of the UN, Antonio Guterres.

The former vice-president of the Serbian List, Radoicic, was interrogated on October 3, four days after claiming responsibility for the attacks.

He was released from detention on October 4.

The judge of the preliminary procedure has rejected the proposal of the High Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade to set the detention measure for Radoicic, after the interview.

The prosecution requested detention on the grounds of the risk of escape.

Radoiçiqi is accused in Serbia of purchasing weapons, ammunition and explosive devices with great destructive power from Tuzla in Bosnia and Herzegovina, from January 2023 to September 24.

Radoiçiqi has denied committing these crimes.

With the decision of October 4, Radoicic was forbidden to leave the territory of Serbia, without the approval of the court, and he was forbidden to go to the territory of Kosovo.

Kosovo has blamed Serbia for the attack in Banjska, which it has considered a "terrorist act".

Serbia has rejected such a thing./ REL
