Two brothers from Kosovo have forged all the papers that their clients presented to the authorities in Germany, starting with language tests, residence permits and many other documents.

The brothers, aged 37 and 31, are currently on trial in Germany. They are not only facing charges of forging documents, but also of smuggling foreigners. Each customer paid up to 2,300 euros for each forged document.

According to Kosovar media, the brothers are said to have earned around 880,000 euros from this scheme.

 "Forged documents offered the opportunity for their recipients to obtain residence, naturalize or find higher-level and more profitable jobs," the announcement said.

The two brothers are not only accused of falsifying documents, but also of smuggling foreigners./ CNA
