Albin Kurti has resigned from the post of Prime Minister so that he can be sworn in as a member of the ninth legislature.
He stated this in a letter addressed to the Secretariat of the Kosovo Assembly, published by the media in Kosovo.
Other members of the incumbent Government of Kosovo have also resigned, after being elected MPs in the February 9 elections.
According to the law, those who win the mandate as deputies and if they are part of the Government of Kosovo, i.e. have an executive position such as: Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister or even Deputy Minister, must resign from their government position./ CNA
