CNA Investigation/ Attacks and Strikes Directed at “Air Albania”

One of the issues on which CNA shed light throughout 2025 was what was behind the strikes and attacks on the Albanian airline "Air Albania".

After the successive attacks that this company was receiving, CNA launched an investigation to understand what was happening to "Air Albania" and to learn who was orchestrating these attacks.

The investigation began by looking for balance sheets at the Central Bank, which did not exist. Seeing this, CNA sent a series of emails to Turkish Airlines, the parent company of Air Albania, which is also the shareholder with the highest percentage, and to the Big Four auditor Ernst & Young (EY) regarding the company's balance sheets and their audit, but in response we received SILENCE.

We also issued a court decision, which showed and revealed an abuse, perhaps a major theft of millions of euros, related to catering, where according to the data, 120 people a day traveled in “business class” with “Air Albania”. An entire plane a day “business class”. Silence again. After an article in CNA, other articles were published against “Air Albania”. It was said that it had not paid the aircraft leases. A “revelation” that came from Switzerland. We wrote to the company where “Air Albania” had leased aircraft, but they told us by e-mail “NO COMMENT”.

Each e-mail had questions directed at what was written to understand the truth, but everyone was silent, we only received one comment.

The company "Air Albania" received successive blows, was abused, misused by managers, executives, former executives, who were under the shelter of "Turkish Airlines", the parent company that had the highest percentage of shares in its "daughter" "Air Albania".

On the other hand, the balance sheets of "Turkish Airlines" kept getting heavier, while this company had promised to give its daughter 7 planes and in the end could not even produce two planes.

All the abuses and thefts that took place at "Air Albania" came to light through a court decision.

Shortly after the denunciations, Turkish Airlines sold its shares in Air Albania.

In the end, it was revealed that what happened to "Air Albania" was a directed and well-orchestrated attack with an ultimate goal of bankrupting and robbing it./ CNA
