Just a short time after the completion of the works, lateral cracks, landslides and land collapses were identified in some segments of this axis, which endanger the stability of the road and the normal circulation of vehicles.

According to the official project table, the object was "Reconstruction of the Maliq-Lozhan i Ri-Strelcë road axis", with a total value of 1,397,257,703.1 lek including VAT, financed by the Albanian Road Authority, which was also the investor of this project.

The works were carried out by the company "Gjikuria" sh.pk, while the design was carried out by the companies "THC" sh.pk and "Erald-G" sh.pk. Supervision of the works was entrusted to the company "CEC Group" sh.pk, which was tasked with guaranteeing the correct implementation of the project and technical standards throughout the entire construction phase.
