A number of artists have published supporting video messages for the mayor and SP candidate for Tirana, Erion Veliaj.

But behind the video message there seems to be a "secret connection" and it is a payment that the singer received from the mayor Erion Veliaj.

Më 17 shtator të 2021-shit, Ermal Meta mbajti një koncert në stadiumin “Air Albania” në Tiranë. Koncerti që u mbajt në periudhën post-COVID, u tha se do të ishte falas.

“Lajmi që kemi pritur të gjithë! Ermal Meta do të ndezë stadiumin 'Air Albania' më 17 shtator me muzikën e tij të mrekullueshme. Koncerti është falas! Mos mungo!”, njoftonte Veliaj më 20 gusht të 2021-shit, por e vërteta ka rezultuar ndryshe.

CNA ka siguruar një dokument që tregon se Bashkia e Tiranës e ka paguar rreth 85 milionë lekë këngëtarin shqiptar për të mbajtur një koncert, kur vendi nuk kishte kaluar ende krizën ekonomike të COVID-19.

Pra, ndonëse na u tha që koncerti do të ishte falas, Ermal Meta ka marrë një pagesë të madhe nga Veliaj, të cilin vetë këngëtari e quan mik.
