CNA has opened a survey, asking Albanians about the government's plan to keep medical students' diplomas for 5 years.
The question addressed is: "Should diplomas be kept from students by forcing them to work in Albania?"
CNA asks citizens whether they agree or not, giving them three options to express their opinion: "Yes", "No", "I don't know".
The opening of this survey was triggered by the statements made today by Prime Minister Edi Rama. The head of the government announced after the meeting with the government that he has decided to extend the time limit for withdrawing the diploma.
Rama stated that from 3 years, medical students are already obliged to work in Albania for 5 years in order to receive the university degree.
This measure of the Albanian government aims to curb the exodus of young doctors and stimulate them to stay in Albania.
CNA invites citizens to express their position regarding this government initiative. / CNA.al
