The Minister of Finance Delina Ibrahimaj says that in the tourism sector, Albania has had an increase of 7.2 percent.

According to the minister, about 2.4 million tourists visited our country in the period January-May 2023.

Ibrahimaj said that the policies undertaken by the government in relation to tourism have had a positive impact on the increase in the number of visitors to our country.

"Tourism data. There was a 7.2% increase, it is moving very positively this year. In 5 months, the number of tourists who have entered our country is 42.5%, or in numbers we have 2.4 million foreign citizens who have entered the country. Our policies have had the right effect. The number of tourists has increased, tourism is a phenomenon spread throughout the year," Ibrahimaj said./ CNA
