Berisha "strips" the opposition of responsibility for the defeat on

Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha continued with excuses and blaming the other party for the poor result and the loss of the May 14 elections.

During a press conference, Berisha stripped the opposition of its responsibilities, saying that Rama used the state budget to buy citizens' votes.

According to him, Rama has appointed the chairman of the coalition where Berisha was a part, an action which he describes as dictatorial.

"He used the state budget to buy votes. Appointed the chairman of the coalition as dictator. So here everyone agrees that the elections were stolen, but unfortunately and in a useless way it is believed that the opposition is responsible for this. The opposition has a responsibility if it would not prove with documents and evidence what happened, the opposition has a responsibility if it does not raise the Albanians in the battle for the free vote", said Berisha./ CNA
