The opening of the refugee camp in Gjadër is postponed, due to the works

From August 1, the centers for the reception of immigrants in Shengjin should be in operation. But such a thing did not happen.  

In Shengji, the work has been completed, while in Gjadër, as can be seen from the view, the works are still ongoing.

Meanwhile, the Italian ambassador in Tirana, Fabrizzio Bucci, inspected the two centers today and said that the work is progressing and everything will be ready in a few weeks.

"Within a few weeks, the center will start working. It's the last jobs to be done. As you have seen, things have gone very well. If you were to come again tomorrow, you would see that the work is progressing every day. It's hard to say a date, it's about a few weeks. The center will be operational soon. As you saw earlier, the center in Shengjin is now completely ready. But both centers will operate in parallel. In Shengjin, the first procedures will be done, then here is the accommodation. I can't give you an exact date, but I'll tell you in a few weeks. As you can see here, the State Police, Carabinieri, Guardia Di Finanza, personnel from the Ministry of Justice, doctors and nurses from Italy have already arrived from Italy. All personnel who serve to operate the center. It is about several hundred people", said Ambassador Bucci./ CNA
