MP and leader of the Opportunity Party, Agron Shehaj, said today that Prime Minister Edi Rama is afraid of the decision that the Constitutional Court is expected to make in the case against Belinda Balluku.

In a statement to journalists, Shehaj stated that in the public session on January 22, it will be clarified whether or not there is equality before the law.

"The truth is that on January 22, the Constitutional Court must decide whether everyone is equal before the law. To decide whether a government official caught stealing should go to prison or not, should be suspended or not. This is a historic decision. Edi Rama, clearly, is scared of this decision and is using everything to influence the decision of the Constitutional Court because he knows very well that if they have to suspend Belinda Balluku, then they can also suspend Edi Rama," said Shehaj./CNA
