"We need a servant of the citizens"/ Binaj: I am running for our

Independent candidate for the Municipality of Tirana, Florjan Binaj, today revealed the reasons that led him to participate in the race to run for mayor of the capital.

Through a post on social media, Binaj states that he is running for the city, as Tirana needs a servant of the citizens and not a servant of the party.

Binaj also paused in his journey in life and profession, as he made a call to action.

"Many people ask me why I am running. I am running for our children, for your children, for this city. So that our children grow up building memories and not seeing construction. I live in Tirana like everyone else with my wife and our 3 children in an old building, in a small apartment, but one that is warm and full of love. With my work, activism and my voice, I have always raised my voice against evil. I have always stood by those in need. An unhealthy Tirana cannot produce healthy citizens and at the head of the Tirana Municipality we do not need a servant of the party, we need a servant of the citizens. Today we must all act together", - says Binaj./CNA
