The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, has given an answer to the special commission led by Fatmir Xhafaj.

Dumani said that SPAK regularly reports to the Assembly, the KLP and the Ministry of Justice.

For this reason, he stated that it was appreciated not to send prosecutors to the Xhafaj commission.

"It is not called rejection. Two prosecutors were requested from SPAK. We unanimously decided that they should not be sent. We unanimously decided that we should not send prosecutors. SPAK has presented all the necessary proposals for legal changes. SPAK reports regularly to KLP and the Assembly. He made known the problems, suggested solutions. We fulfill our obligations as an institution. We report every month to the Ministry of Justice", he said.

The head of SPAK declared that he will continue his work, while emphasizing that he cannot predict what politics will do in relation to the institution he leads.

"I can't predict what politics will do in the future in relation to the SPAK, but I declare that we as an institution are motivated to implement our functions with concrete issues and bring criminal responsibility to anyone who is caught in violation of the law". emphasized Dumani./ CNA
