Not only Taulant Tushe/ Arrested, several directors of Veliaj

After seizing the Tirana incinerator, SPAK has taken the next step regarding the 110 million dollar affair.

SPAK has issued 15 arrest warrants for the affair in Tirana, among which is the name of Taulant Tushes, the General Director of Public Works in the Municipality of Tirana.

But CNA has learned that Tushe is not the only director for whom the Special Prosecutor's Office has sought arrest.

Sources indicate that the list of arrested persons also includes several other directors of the mayor Erion Veliaj, whose names are not known yet.

They were also investigated for other issues, not only for the affair in the Tirana incinerator.

It is learned that Rama's directors created company schemes with family members to benefit from tenders and public funds.

Also, there are arrest warrants for the heads of incinerators Klodian Zoto and Mirel Mërtiri, who are wanted internationally for the affairs in the two incinerators of Elbasan and Fier.

Accusations against Alqi Bllakos, the former Secretary General of the Ministry of Environment, convicted for corruption in the Fier incinerator, are again heavy.

The arrest warrants were signed by prosecutor Dritan Prençi, who followed the investigations into this affair.

Journalist Elvi Fundo also announced the arrests for the Tirana case earlier today.
