Artificial intelligence in public procurement

Artificial intelligence will be introduced in public procurement.

This is what the Minister of Agriculture Edi Rama declared during his speech at the SP Congress.

Rama said that SP aims to introduce a procurement system with artificial intelligence within the mandate.

According to him, this way will reduce possible abuses with public procurements, as he emphasized that co-currents will not have any contact with the commissioners.

"The processes are archaic. The ambition is that within this mandate we introduce the procurement system with artificial intelligence. It means that it will be procured without papers. It will be procured with procedures where the competitors will not have contact with any kind of commissioner, and where anyone above will not be able to influence the tender.The company will bring the project, give the price, and wait for the result.

Another direction in which we will use Artificial Intelligence, starting in January, is the pursuit of evasion in financial transactions of all levels. The fiscalism system of the whole business needs monitoring. Some transactions are avoided, but they cannot be avoided anymore. Pensions will not be given with an envelope but with a card," the Prime Minister declared, among other things./ CNA
