IGJEUM: Frost in some areas, risk of increased flows in the Lower Shkodra area

The Institute of Geosciences has shared a new forecast regarding weather conditions in the country.

According to hydrological calculations, as a result of the rainfall, the Drin-Buna River and Lake Shkodra will continue to experience increased flows and levels and a risk of increased flooded areas in the Nënshkodra area.

Temperature and frost:

This afternoon and tomorrow, as a result of low temperatures in the North, East and Southeast of the territory, frost may create various problems and difficulties in road transport.

No precipitation is expected this afternoon and tomorrow.

Tomorrow, minimum and maximum air temperatures are expected to reach:

on the coast: 2 / 10 °C

in lowlands: -2 / 10 °C

in mountainous areas: -10 / 4 °C
