Prime Minister Edi Rama has published details of the state ceremony in honor of Ismail Kadare, the luminary of Albanian letters.

Rama announced that at 09:00, public tributes will be performed at the National Opera, Ballet and Folk Ensemble Theatre.

Also, he announced that at 11:30 a.m. the state farewell ceremony will be held and at 12:30 p.m. the procession will start in the direction of the Tufina cemetery.

We remind you that the government has declared Tuesday and Wednesday days of mourning, after the death of Ismail Kadare. Kadare is considered one of the giants of Albanian literature. The author of dozens of novels, poems and essays is one of the most famous Albanians in the world, with his works translated into over 45 different languages ??of the world.

Kadare has been a candidate for the Nobel Prize for literature several times in a row, while there are many prestigious international awards for his work, such as the International Booker Man Prize, Prince of Asturias Aëard, Jerusalem Prize, Neustadt International Prize, Nonino, Park Kyong -ni./  CNA
