Accident with one victim in Fushë-Dukat/ Police provide details

The police have provided details regarding the accident that occurred in the early hours of this morning on the Vlora-Llogara axis in a place called Fushë-Dukat.

According to the police, as a result of the accident, a 52-year-old IH citizen lost his life and 4 other people were injured.

Police announce that a van-type vehicle, driven by citizen SR, 22 years old, is suspected of losing control of the vehicle and going off the road.

"Around 06:10, on the Vlora-Llogora road axis, in the place called "Fushë Dukat", a van-type vehicle, driven by citizen SR, 22 years old, is suspected of having lost control of the vehicle and gone off the road.

As a result of the accident, one of the passengers, citizen IH, 52 years old, died at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle and the 3 other passengers were transported to the hospital, where they are under the care of doctors.

"The investigation team is at the scene and, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is carrying out procedural actions to fully clarify the causes and circumstances of the accident," the announcement states./ CNA
