Albania will be in national mourning for two days for the death of the luminary of Albanian letters, Ismail Kadare.

The decision was taken by the Council of Ministers, which announces that it has declared days of mourning on July 2 and 3.

The government will hold tributes on Wednesday. According to VKM, the tributes will be held from 9:00 am to 11:00 am and from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.

A Special State Commission has been set up under the supervision of the Prime Minister for the organization of the tributes and the state ceremony.

Burial, tribute and ceremonial expenses will be borne by the Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation./ CNA
