The parties agreed to intensify their cooperation in real-time data exchange and the organization of joint operations aimed at combating international organized crime.

The head of the Special Prosecution highly appreciated the importance of these meetings, which will help increase the effectiveness of SPAK's activity and improve the investigative and analytical skills of this structure. Dumani said that "cooperation with international partners is a key element in SPAK's strategy to fight corruption and organized crime in Albania and the region".

The senior British officials evaluated SPAK's activity so far and emphasized their willingness to support this institution in fulfilling its legal mission in the fight against corruption of high officials and organized crime.

Dumani was also invited by the Royal Institute for Defense and Security Studies (RUSI) to a joint round table organized in collaboration with Andi Hoxhaj OBE, professor at University College London (UCL). Duman made a presentation of the SPAK activity in the presence of representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office), British law enforcement agencies, civil society and the academic world with participants from some of the most famous British universities.

The presentation focused on the work and difficulties of SPAK and the importance of cooperation with Great Britain in the fight against corruption and organized crime.

Zhilla, the Legal Advisor to the Cabinet of the Director of the Special Prosecution, presented some of the challenges related to the investigation of Albanian criminal groups and the importance of a joint approach in the investigation of Albanian organized crime, which has already expanded its criminal activity and cooperation in the main criminal markets in the world.

This visit marks an important step in strengthening ties between Albania and Great Britain, in the field of security and law enforcement. The main achievements of this visit include the strengthening of ties and a more concrete strategy in the field of cooperation between the parties which will significantly improve the effectiveness of investigations and the fight against organized crime and corruption.

Also, the visit contributed to raising awareness among various British institutions about the role and importance of SPAK's fight against corruption and organized crime, including not only law enforcement agencies but also representatives of civil society and the academic world./CNA
