The spokesperson for Anti-Corruption in the Democratic Party, Genta Vangjeli, has denounced that "transnational corruption wanted to annihilate the PD and the removal of Sali Berisha".

In her denunciation, Vangjeli first referred to the 2 MOUs signed by Edi Rama in 2018 with the company "ERNST & YOUNG" with the company's representative Louis Bladel, former head of the Counter-Espionage Service at the FBI.

Vangjeli says that Bladel held the same post as Chales McGonigal, but with the conviction of the latter, Rama continued to cooperate with Bladel.

According to the democrat, these are new facts that prove that Rama followed the plan with McGonigal, Agron Neza and Louis Bladel to annihilate the PD and its leader Sali Berisha.

According to her, the fact that Berisha is under house arrest is evidence that his arrest is political and is a consequence, as Vangjeli says, of "transnational corruption.

Bladel had held the same post at the FBI as McGonigal and after leaving the top government job was appointed Executive Director of Ernst & Young Global Limited.

In the document of the Jury of the Court of New York, of September 2022, in point d, it was requested from the US Attorney's Office "to obtain information about Mr. Louis Bladel and "Ernst & Young Global Limited".

After McGonigal's conviction, Edi Rama felt even more motivated to continue cooperation with the friends of the former chief of intelligence.
