Prime Minister Edi Rama will hold a meeting with the heads of services at the "Mother Teresa" University Hospital Center, after the scandal at the Oncology hospital.

The meeting will be held on Monday morning, in the premises of QSUT.

Until now, there are not many details about this meeting, which comes at a hot moment, when the scandal with tumor patients has erupted.  

Doctors and Oncology employees have misused their duties, not giving citizens the necessary service in the state hospital, but directing them to private hospitals, to get the services they were looking for.

Also, the source of cobalt used for radiotherapy was located in the "Mother Teresa" hospital, which was not put into operation and was outside the standards, turning into a source of danger for patients./ CNA
