Besiana Kadare, the daughter of the famous writer Ismail Kadare, has chosen a poem written by her late father to commemorate him on the day he passed away.

The poem that Besiana Kadare has chosen to publish on social networks is titled "Insufficient Time".

Insufficient time

I don't have time to forget many things
From my mind I take you forever.
For the old tragedies and flashbacks
I will need at least two years.
And perhaps as much for Dante,
For the French land and the beaches as much,
Perhaps the women I'll be sweeping away
When the dusk draws near.
Like the overweight traveler
Before the departing plane in a little while
Still heavily laden
I'll approach the lost grave.
How can I take this burden off my shoulders?
Where do I put this weight, how?
I can't go down there with him
, but I can never leave him up there either.
Thought until the last moment
From old age, from the tragic hostage,
A perhaps incomprehensible sign
I will make you all and I will leave.

Kadare died at the age of 88 in the early hours of Monday morning in his apartment in the capital of natural causes. 

The Council of Ministers approved yesterday afternoon two days of mourning in honor of the world-famous writer. Flags in state and public institutions will be flown at half-mast.

Therefore, public tributes and state ceremonies will be held tomorrow at the National Theater of Opera and Ballet in Tirana, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Meanwhile, at 13.00 on Wednesday, all activities will be stopped and a minute of silence will be held in honor of the colossus of Albanian letters./ CNA
